“Positive Vibes”

On January 12  the Exeter Courthouse Gallery welcomed ”Positive Vibes” into the gallery.

This show brought a different vibe to the gallery with the opening featuring a gallery sage cleansing by Amber Dawn Hilton, a peace meditation led by Joanie Constable and a drum circle led by Amber.  We had artists set up in the gallery for a makers market selling jewelry, stickers, t-shirts, essential oils, and other fun items. We also had wonderful vegetarian and vegan fare from Raw Fresno and Precision Prep from Visalia. The artists participating brought in work with a spiritual, bohemian groove. Susan Ardesch, Joanie Constable, Kelli Doty, Tamara Elliott, Amy Figueroa, Joe Goetz, Amber Dawn Hilton, Nellie Martinez, Molly Martino, Nancy Randol and Deanna Saladana were chosen for their positive messages in their work.

On Sunday February 9, we had our Closing Reception which celebrated love and kindness in our world. We again had our talented group of artists showing art on the walls and on the tables of our Makers Market. We had a few new artisans in our Marker’s Market for this show. Nathalie Debenne brought her sugar free chocolate and marzipan critter along with her “fairy” cottages. Grace Wiseman joined our market with her handmade jewelry and Stevie Mason was selling Girl Scout cookies! The reception featured a “Chocolate Bar” with a bevy of chocolate treats and sparkling wine. The show was a fun celebration to welcome in the new year and decade with a positive vibe! Joanie Constable has donated her “Live in Peace” coffee mugs that are available for purchase after the show has closed. They are $25.00 each with no tax and considered a donation to the gallery. Come in and pick up one of these colorful mugs and keep those Positive Vibes flowing!

This year we have decided to forego the dinner and auction and will be holding our Hometown Holidays Open House on Sunday December 15, 2:00-4:00pm. Hometown Emporium will provide a dessert bar and we will be serving coffee, hot cocoa and sparkling wines. This reception is open to the public and is a free event.
